GNS Sevai Illam provides medical help for at a nominal cost to those who cannot afford the expense.
In August 2007 it organized a camp for physically challenged poor children. 70 children with various disabilities that were either congenital or caused by polio, cerebral palsy, autism attended the camp at the Illam. Dr. Sunder, MD, Physiatrist from Chennai, with a team of 5 physiotherapists and orthotists examined the children and prescribed exercises and medicines. 38 of these children will be given free appliances such as wheelchairs, crutches, tricycles, shoes to improve their mobility.
